Tony Luke’s Cheesesteaks was founded in 1992 by Anthony Lucidonio, Sr. and his sons, Tony Luke, Jr. and Nicholas Lucidonio. In 2011, we began to expand with a licensing model. Our transition from a licensor to a cheesesteak franchise in 2014 sparked rapid growth for the brand. As we’ve shared our business model with passionate owner-operators, Tony Luke’s has earned international renown – with 22 stores currently open in Bahrain and throughout the Mid-Atlantic U.S.
Tony Luke’s has been voted “Best Ballpark Food in America” by Citizens Bank Ball Park and continues to receive national attention with our famous cheesesteaks appearing on various Food Network television shows, as well as in USA Today Travel and The New York Times.
