8. Accept Yourself for Who You Are
A lot of times we do ourselves a disservice by pushing ourselves to do things we know are not going to work out well in the end. This doesn’t mean to not challenge yourself, but to do it in smart ways. You need to really know yourself. For example if you are not a morning person, why set yourself up for failure by scheduling an 8 a.m. class when it is not necessary. Keeping a journal about your daily thoughts and feelings can help you stay in better touch with your inner self.
9. Set realistic expectations
This goes along with accepting yourself for who you are. Always set yourself realistic expectations that you feel confident you can reach. You are only going to hurt yourself by setting goals you know are reach for you know. Instead of creating a large, unattainable goal, set up smaller, more achievable steps that will still get you to the same place ultimately, just with less heartache.
10. Get enough sleep and exercise and eat a healthy diet
